Neha murder case: Fayaz seeks bail by naming Darshan

Though it has been passed since the murder of Neha Hiremath, a student on the premises of BVB College in Hubballi, the main accused Fayaz is yet to be sentenced. Now, Fayaz's plea for bail has sparked a debate.
"Just as actor Darshan got bail in the Renukaswamy murder case, give me bail too," he said. The 1st Additional District and Sessions Court in Hubballi will pronounce its verdict on the bail plea on August 4.
Neha's father Niranjan expressed his displeasure over the incident. "This is a wrong example. Artists and influencers should be role models. But such appeals create a dangerous concept," he said. The CID has filed a chargesheet in the case and the investigation process is on.
