Darshan to travel to Dubai? Dasa seeks court permission to travel abroad for shooting of “Devil”

Actor Darshan, who is an accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, has now moved an application seeking court's permission to travel abroad for the shooting of his upcoming film "Devil". The film will be shot in Dubai and Europe from June 1 to 25 and it has been requested to allow a 25-day foreign tour.

Darshan has filed an application under Section 439(1)(b) of the CrPC. Earlier, he was not allowed to go out of Bengaluru on the bail condition granted by the High Court. It was later relaxed and travel within the country was allowed. Now it has been extended further and an application has been filed seeking permission to travel abroad.

Advocate Sunil Kumar, appearing for Darshan, has filed an application in the 57th CCH court which will hear the matter today. A request has also been received from the producers of the film for the need for shooting and an application has been filed on the ground that some important scenes should be shot abroad. In the wake of this case, Darshan's petition has now sparked a huge debate in social, political and Sandalwood circles. The court's verdict is now the home of all eyes.
