The ongoing hearing in the 64th CCH court on the transfer of five accused, including Sandalwood actor Darshan, to Ballari jail has drawn the attention of the state. Darshan's lawyers and the government's arguments in the case have intensified. Advocates Sunil and Sandesh Chowta argued on behalf of actor Darshan. "Darshan is being misused by the police and jail authorities because he is a celebrity," Sunil argued.

According to him, it is not right under the law to shift prisoners in court custody without just administrative and security grounds. "As per the Prisoners Act, 1963, prisoners can be shifted only for four reasons. But there is no valid reason for that in this case," he told the court. Senior advocate Sandesh Chowta also submitted several reasons before the court, including darshan's mother's illness, and urged him not to shift to Ballari.

SPP Prasanna Kumar argued on behalf of the government and demanded that Darshan and others be shifted to Ballari. He highlighted before the court the safety and administrative reasons of the prisoners. The trial is underway in the Renukaswamy murder case against Darshan and gang. The transfer of the five accused, including Darshan, Nagaraju, Lakshman and Jagadish, has now reached a crucial stage.

Attention has been drawn across the state to the direction in which the court verdict will turn. On the one hand, Darshan's lawyers are opposing the relocation on legal grounds, while on the other hand, the government's argument is based on security and administrative reasons. Fans are curious whether Darshan will be shifted to Ballari jail only after the next hearing or will he continue today.
