The court has adjourned the hearing in the foreign duck rearing case against Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. Mysore's T. The Narasipur court has fixed September 4 as the next date of hearing.

The forest department had registered an FIR two years ago against Darshan for rearing a foreign duck named bar-headed goose at his farmhouse in Kempayyanahundi without permission. Notices have been issued to Darshan, his wife Vijayalakshmi and plantation manager Nagaraju in the case.

The matter was revealed in a YouTube interview given by Darshan earlier, leading to legal action. Senior advocate Basavanna appeared for Darshan in the court.

On the second Friday of the month of Ashadha, Darshan visited chamundeshwari temple along with his wife Vijayalakshmi and brother Dinaka and had darshan of the goddess. There was a huge rush of fans at the temple for some time. On the other hand, the shooting of Darshan starrer 'Devil' is going on in full swing and the film is in progress.
