Gold Suresh, who became popular as a contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada season 11, has now landed in a new controversy. Mainuddin, a resident of Manvi town in Raichur district, has accused Suresh of cheating lakhs of rupees. According to him, Suresh had signed a contract worth Rs 14 lakh in 2017 under an agreement to set up a cable channel, out of which he received Rs 7 lakh, stopped the work midway and remained silent without returning the money.

Mainuddin alleged that initially he had given an advance of Rs 4 lakh, then gradually added another Rs 3 lakh and handed over a total of Rs 7 lakh, but, the project was stopped midway and later tried to get in touch, but Gold Suresh did not respond.

The case has now sparked a huge debate on social media and people are feeling strange in the wake of Suresh's Bigg Boss fame.

Gold Suresh has not given any official clarification on the allegations, pending his response, controversy among fans. While some fans are supporting him, others are of the opinion that there should be a transparent probe into the allegations. It is learnt from Mainuddin's group that legal action is likely to be taken and all eyes are on the direction of the case in the coming days.
