Kannada film legend and late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan's wife Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and son Anirudh thanked the government for the important decision taken by the government in the matter of Abhiman Studios, which was the centre of Vishnuvardhan's dreams. He recently met CM Siddaramaiah and expressed his gratitude.

Vishnuvardhan's last rites were performed at Abhiman Studios and fans used to consider the place as "punyabhoomi". However, the place was suddenly demolished, causing frustration and anger among the fans. Many star actors and fan clubs came forward to draw the attention of the government. Kichcha Sudeep has decided to buy half an acre of land in memory of Vishnuvardhan and build a vishnu darshan centre there. On September 18, Vishnuvardhan's birthday, a blueprint of the same will be displayed to fans.

Fans were constantly requesting for only 10 guntas of land. Meanwhile, the government has taken a decision to take over the Abhiman Studio land. According to a report by the forest department, t.n. Balakrishna was given 20 acres of land on lease by the government. As per the rules, the land was not allowed to be sold or alienated to anyone for 20 years. However, balakrishna's children sold 10 acres of land in violation of rules, the report said.

What is even more serious is that 12 acres of land has been sold instead of the sanctioned 10 acres. The department alleged that despite promising the government that it would use the funds for the development of the studio, no construction work has taken place in the last five years. After all these developments, as soon as the government stepped in to take over the land, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and Anirudh met CM Siddaramaiah and thanked him. The pictures of his visit are now going viral on social media, much to the delight of Vishnuvardhan's fans. The government's decision to keep vishnuvardhan's memory alive for generations to come has brought to life the long-cherished dream of his fans.
