Aparna's voice in Yellow Metro too - a moment of joy for fans

A special good news for bangalore city metro commuters. The voice of actress-host Aparna, who won the hearts of commuters with her melodious voice on the green and purple lines, will now resonate on the newly inaugurated Yellow Metro line as well.
Aparna will always be remembered in the hearts of Kannadigas. The actor, who was acclaimed in many fields from acting to narration, died of cancer in July last year. But, in his last days itself, he accomplished the great task of giving voice to metro announcements on the yellow line.
In April-May 2024, the Metro technical team met Aparna and conducted the recording. Though his health deteriorated, he did not hesitate to fulfil the wishes of Kannadigas with his voice. His professionalism and love for Kannadigas are being appreciated by all.
The Yellow Metro line was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10. On this route, which will have a total of 16 stations from RV Road to Bommasandra, Aparna's voice will guide commuters from now on.
With this, Aparna's voice is echoing at a total of 85 metro stations on the three lines of green, purple and yellow, making it a rare experience for Bengaluru Metro commuters.
Aparna's voice is not just informative, it also creates companionship, memory and emotion in the minds of Kannadigas. Thus, the sound of his voice ringing in the yellow way, is a truly touching moment for the fans.
