Another fraud complaint against Rachita Ram – Serious allegations from the 'Uppi Ruppi' team

Sandalwood actress Rachita Ram has now landed in the middle of another controversy. He was recently accused of not participating in the promotional activities of 'Sanju Weds Geetha 2' and is now facing charges of not returning money from the team of 'Uppi Ruppi'. Vijayalakshmi Urs, the producer of the film, has filed a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce against Rachita Ram. According to the allegations, the actress agreed to pay Rs 23 lakh, but did not participate in the shoot and did not return the Rs 13 lakh she had taken in advance.

Rachita Ram because of 'Uppi Ruppi' which has been pending for 8 years? The incident took place in 2017 when Rachita had agreed to act with Upendra. Though the team made all the preparations to shoot in Bangkok, Rachita did not turn up saying that she would be present for 15 days, causing a loss of money and time among the producers. According to Vijayalakshmi Urs, the daily loss was around Rs 1.5 crore, including the booking of flight tickets, hotel expenses, shooting time expenses, etc.

Only 35 per cent of the shooting of the film was completed and the rest did not go for shooting. The producer alleged that Rachita Ram attended the mysore shoot for just one day. After that, they went out of touch. The matter is back in the news after a complaint was lodged with the film chamber two months ago but there was no response.
