Forest Minister reacts to allegations of violation of rules in Kanthara Chapter 1 shooting By Pti . Forest and Environment Minister Ishwar B. Sudhakar has been accused of violating forest rules during the shooting of 'Kanthara: Chapter 1'. Khandre responded. The shooting of the film was going on in Gavibetta area of Yasalur range of Sakleshpur taluk of Hassan district when there were reports of wildlife being disturbed due to the use of explosives. Ishwar Khandre said, "I have instructed the officials to conduct a spot inspection. If the condition is violated, the shooting will be stopped immediately and legal action will be taken." The team of Hombale Films had obtained conditional permission to shoot for 23 days. However, according to media reports, the makers are suspected to have violated the rules. Khandre said appropriate steps will be taken to ensure that the local environment is not harmed. The minister clarified that a decision on further action will be taken after the report of the concerned authorities.
