Actor Darshan gets bail from sessions court!

BENGALURU: A sessions court in Bengaluru on Thursday sentenced actor Darshan, who is lodged in Parappana Agrahara jail in connection with the murder of actor Renukaswamy. The court rejected Darshan's plea to be shifted to Ballari jail and allowed him to be given some additional facilities inside the jail.

The court rejected the plea to shift A2 accused Darshan to Ballari jail. The court was of the opinion that there were no additional reasons against Darshan. With this, he will continue in Parappana Agrahara.

The court also allowed Darshan to provide additional beds, pillows and bed sheets. However, the court said that these facilities should be provided as per the jail manual. The court also made it clear that action can be taken by the jail IG in case of violation of the rules. Also, it is a matter of some relief for Darshan that he has been allowed to move around inside the jail.

In the hearing held before the verdict, actor Darshan had shared his ordeal before the judge.
"It has been 30 days since I have not seen the sun. I have got fungus in my hand. Give me poison and no one else," he said. To this, the judge had warned, "You can't say this."

After the Supreme Court's stern instructions, Darshan is not getting VIP facilities in Parappana Agrahara jail as before. Jail rules apply to him like ordinary prisoners. Darshan felt that he was suffering from hell because of this.

Now, the sessions court has given some relief to Darshan. Extra bedding, pillows and the freedom to move around inside the jail are likely to give them some relief. While the verdict has come as a relief to Darshan's fans, all eyes are on how the case will proceed in the coming days.
